CoVid Warrior:
Being Lungs Specialist helped in setting protocols and running CoVid OPD at the hospital which saw tremendous rush.
Lead team of doctors to care for CoVid patients in all the three waves of pandemic. Treated 629 admitted patients at concessional rate set by NMC.
Did online National Seminars and CMEs under Indian Chest Society as an expert to quickly disseminate emerging information about CoVid to all Indian Doctors treating CoVid patients.
Published Guidance Statement on how to use nebulization during CoVid Pandemic
 
Social Activism:
Moved to Supreme Court against policy of admitting asymptomatic CoVid patients to hospital thereby increasing chances of frontline workers to avoidable infection. Subsequently won and ICMR changed the policy. Was National News
Asked the recovered CoVid patients who required huge amount of Oxygen support to survive to plant one tree of 1000 liters of oxygen consumed as “ giving back to nature “ and gratitude. Was appreciated by all and covered by national media. Many patients planted trees and reported to me with photos as evidence.
