Kolkata recently witnessed the presentation of the Chandu Charan Das Memorial Award, conferred in recognition of outstanding contributions to public health. The award was presented for the impactful training conducted for the Rotary Task Force on Community TB Services two years ago, which played a significant role in strengthening community-based tuberculosis awareness, prevention, and service delivery. The honour acknowledges sustained efforts toward capacity building and collaborative action in the fight against tuberculosis, highlighting the long-term impact of structured training initiatives on public health outcomes.
